Owned by the Cones
A locally owned Statesboro moving team, voted the town's #1.
R & S Packing & Moving is owned and operated by Roosevelt Cone Jr. and Shelby Cone. Our moving team is based right here in Statesboro, and our movers are well trained professionals ready to take on your move.
Roosevelt comes out to introduce himself and make sure everything is ready before the crew starts. Shelby keeps the plan simple, from the first call to the last box, and picks up the problems that would otherwise land on you, like needing somewhere to keep your things for a week.
Statesboro has voted us its #1 moving team several years in a row. We're proud of that, and we work to keep it.

“From start to finish this was the best experience I’ve ever had moving. We had to be out a week before the apartment my daughter was moving into would be available and had planned on renting a trailer for a week just to hold her things while we waited. I called R&S to get some men to help load her things and Shelby said she would handle the loading and unloading onto one of her trucks and store it while we waited. I could not have asked for a better idea!! The men were prompt, courteous, and worked quickly. With college move ins and move outs, the leasing companies give you times and you have to move during those times. R&S worked well within our time slots and made this experience an awesome one. Thanks to EVERYONE at R&S and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone in need of a first class moving company.”

“10/10 recommend!! These guys were awesome!! They were very nice and did an excellent job making sure everything was taken apart, moved, and put back together carefully and quickly. Mr. Roosevelt also came and introduced himself and made sure everything was ready to be moved and called to ensure everything was done and we were satisfied. I highly recommend R & S Packing & Moving to anyone needing their stuff moved! 🤩”

“Not sure I have quite the vocabulary to describe what the experience was like working with R & S Packing & Moving but here we go. Amazing, professional, prompt, upfront, caring, kind, genuine, strong, patient and trustworthy!!! Just some but certainly not all of the great things we could say about Roosevelt, Shelby, and their crew. They certainly have the muscle to take all the stress out of moving. Worth every penny spent and then some!!! 5star talent and performance!!”

“Excellent communication with both office staff and movers. Shelby made the process simple and the guys were great to work with. They wrapped furniture well and packed truck with care. To downsize and move after 30 yrs is stressful but these guys made it a pleasant and relaxing experience. There is no way we could have handled this ourselves. I highly recommend this company and love the fact that we get to support a local business.”
